Paste Inspector
What is this?
You know when you copy and paste from a website into Microsoft Word and your formatting gets all screwed up because it chose to keep the website's font and link colors? That's possible because when you copy from an application, it's free to offer several different representations of the data (in the form of different MIME types) to the application you're pasting into.
This utility shows the available formats and their contents. You may be surprised by what data you never knew was available.
One use of this data is for building zero-install data extraction utilities, such as my Slack Conversation to Markdown Converter.
